Holly Johnson
About Holly
Holly Johnson represents the one element of Big Harvest Creative Group that doesn’t fall into the “creative services” realm, but is more about organizational systems like data management and spreadsheet creation.
Holly spent nearly 25 years in non-profit management before coming home to freelance full time in February 2020, just after COVID hit. She began her career as Executive Director of the Ashe County Partnership for Children in Ashe County, North Carolina, before moving to the United Way in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1997. She then became the Director of Refugee Resettlement for Catholic Charities of Tennessee and, ultimately, Director of the Tennessee Office of Refugees.
In her duties with Catholic Charities, Holly oversaw large staffs and budgets and worked closely with state and federal agencies. She was often the public face of Tennessee’s refugee resettlement program, testifying before the state legislature and being interviewed by regional and national media.
