Mark Johnson

Mark has spent the past 30 years as a creative professional. He had an 11-year gig as a touring musician and songwriter, owned a graphic design firm, was assistant editor of Tennessee’s most tenured agricultural and rural living publication — the Tennessee Cooperator — and served as communications director of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation where he was editor of Tennessee Out-Of-Doors magazine. He’s a longtime freelance writer and has published humor and health and fitness blogs that have been read worldwide. He has won more than 100 national awards in writing, photography, advertising, and editing, has released two CDs of original music, and has authored two books. Mark lives in Kingston Springs, Tennessee, with his wife, Holly, and three kids, Sam, Ava, and Pete.

Jonathan Scheele

Jonathan specializes in graphic design and illustration. He has worked at both corporate in-house and smaller design agencies. Jonathan has worked with many clients, ranging from the healthcare community, venture start-ups, and manufacturing to resort and ranches. His design style is contemporary, clean and compelling. Jonathan focuses on corporate identity and branding, re-branding, and collateral design with a love of vintage travel posters. Some of his designs are a modern take on the beloved look of 1950s American national park graphics. Jonathan lives in Spring Hill with his wife April and their three children. If he is not in front of his computer, he usually can be found on a trail.

Alfonso Llamas

From web design to brand identity, Al brings an artist’s perspective to every project. By developing responsive design, single-page, and e-commerce sites to SEO and social media, Al builds an online presence for individuals and businesses. He educates, informs, and empowers clients to make sure they focus their resources and own their web presence. In addressing corporate brand identity, Al has worked with over 100 companies, establishing what makes them unique and recognizable, then leveraging old and new media to write their stories in a memorable way. Among his clients are Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee Wildlife Federation, Fulin’s Asian Cuisine, Francesca’s of Cool Springs, The Thom Abram Show, and NFL Alumni: Tennessee Chapter.

Ken Tucker

Ever since he started taking pictures with his dad’s 35mm rangefinder camera on the family farm in West Tennessee, Ken has been telling stories with pictures. Since earning a degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Ken’s career has ranged from news and documentaries to commercials and music concert production. He has helped produce documentaries about the Civil War, underage drinking and driving, methamphetamine, and teen pregnancy, among others. He was a driving force behind the award winning Tennessee’s Wild Side television series, recognized three times as the best outdoor show in North American by Association of Conservation Information. Ken has won 24 regional Emmy Awards for producing, editing, videography and audio, was named the 2011 Conservation Communicator of the Year by Tennessee Wildlife Federation, and has received multiple Associated Press awards.

Robin Conover

Robin has spent the last 23 years documenting the people and places of Tennessee with The Tennessee Magazine. After graduating from Murray State University, Robin began working for magazine in October 1988 as a communications specialist and photojournalist. She now serves as TECA vice president of communications and editor of The Tennessee Magazine. Her interest in preserving the environment and Tennessee’s beautiful natural areas has led her down many miles of trails to capture thousands of images. Robin is currently a board member of the Friends of Radnor Lake, a nonprofit in Nashville. Robin’s images can be seen in greeting cards, calendars, books and at a few fine-art shows she participates in each year.

Barry Richards

Barry earned a degree in Radio/TV/Motion Pictures from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill but he has refined his craft on location across the country. As a videographer, Barry has worked from California and Montana to the Caribbean islands.  He has been in the room for countless surgeries, held a camera off the side of a jeep in Sedona, and shot underwater footage in the Florida keys.

Barry is equally skilled in an edit bay as well as a voice-over booth. He says, “I get a lot of work done in a dark room with a computer but I am always glad to grab a camera and head out in the field.”

Tim Bays

Tim is a speaker, humorist and musical presenter who uses songs and stories to entertain, elevate and inspire. He has worked with companies from IBM to At Home Total Care and shared concert bills with artists ranging from Sarah Vaughn to Arlo Guthrie. He is a successful songwriter with recordings by Randy Travis, Peter Paul & Mary and much to his family’s embarrassment, Jerry Springer. In addition he has created ads and motivational themes for such companies as GE, Duke Power and Sara Lee, as well as being a recognizable voice in commercials for companies like Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, Coca Cola, Goodyear, and McDonalds. He has appeared on ABC, TNN, PBS, CBS, CMT and in 2005 was featured on the TV special “A Wisdom Christmas – The Gift Of Song” on the DISH Network.

Doug Holmquist

Doug has been extensively involved in the music industry for over 30 years. He began by doing voice-over work, commercial jingles, and production in his home state of Minnesota. In 1991, he moved to Nashville and signed a publishing deal with MCA/Crosswind Corporation as a staff songwriter. Doug’s career expanded in 1996 after becoming heavily involved in the Brazilian music industry, producing records  (5 million+ copies sold!) and writing songs for Brazilian artists and TV “novelas.” After 1998, Doug began concentrating his efforts on mixing and mastering, He has since been nominated for a Grammy Award for his editing and mastering work and has built an amazing discography working with legendary clients include B.J. Thomas, Don McLean, Dolly Parton, Lou Gramm of Foreigner, Ricky Skaggs, and dozens of other A-list artists.

Eddie Brawner

Eddie has been serving the Middle Tennessee business community for some 30 years in both “ink on paper” printing and a wide array of promotional products creation, product packaging, direct mail, warehousing, and fulfillment. As a print broker with a wealth of personal and professional contacts in and around the Nashville area, Eddie can facilitate the production of nearly any print or branding project imaginable, including large format signage, banners, POP displays, and wearables. He also handles production of multi-page documents like newsletters, magazines, coffee table books, and annual reports. His formats include digital print, offset (sheet-fed and web), large format, silkscreen, flexo, variable data/direct mail, vehicle wraps, engraving, letterpress, embroidery, gravure, ad specialties, etc. His client list includes Pearl Corp., SmileDirectClub, Universal Music Group, The Greenbrier, Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, FristBank, Tennessee Wildlife Federation, and others.

Holly Johnson

Holly Johnson represents the one element of Big Harvest Creative Group that doesn’t fall into the “creative services” realm, but is more about organizational systems like data management and spreadsheet creation.

Among Holly’s many skills are:
