Ken Tucker Portfolio
Ever since he started taking pictures with his dad’s 35mm rangefinder camera on the family farm in West Tennessee, Ken has been telling stories with pictures. While getting his degree at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Ken got behind a video camera for the first time and fell in love with a medium that combines sight and sound. His career has ranged from news and documentaries to commercials and music concert production. He has helped produce documentaries about the Civil War, underage drinking and driving, methamphetamine, and teen pregnancy, among others. He was a driving force behind the award winning Tennessee’s Wild Side television series, recognized three times as the best outdoor show in North American by Association of Conservation Information. Ken has won 24 regional Emmy Awards for producing, editing, videography and audio, was named the 2011 Conservation Communicator of the Year by TN Wildlife Federation, and has received multiple Associated Press awards.
